Lifting question - grip giving up?

Hi all, lately I've had issues with my left arm grip while lifting weights. Take today for example, my planned workout has 20 reps of Romanian deadlifts at 35kg. I can lift 55kg with lower reps so it's not "too heavy". I get to rep #8 and feel my grip giving up.... feels weird (not painful), just like the two smallest fingers can't actually grasp the weight? This occurred on every set. This also happened last week and I thought my 4 days off would be enough to resolve the issue. Has anyone got any ideas what this could be? It's not really my fingers that feel odd, more the underside of my forearm (halfway between wrist/ elbow), to the side of my little finger. But it is the fingers where they suddenly can't support weight.

Fatigue, you might be able to hold heavier, but are limited by how long you can isometrically grip a bar.

The majority of the hand is made of tendons, which run back to the muscles contained in the forearm. If all of the muscles required were in the hand, we'd have massive, cumbersome hands.

Sounds to me that you forearms are too weak. Either train your forearms and fingers to be able to hold heavy weight for longer period of time... or just use lifting straps, like 99% of power lifters and bodybuilders out there.
