I was wondering if anyone might have some insight on the effects of caffeine on a healthy diet and exercise plan. I was given some advise here couple weeks ago and modified my carbs - protein - fat intake to 35 - 35 - 30 which I try to stick to.
However I love Chai teas and coffees - I don't add any sugar or sweeteners and I usually drink them with almond or soy milk. I probably have about 3 cups per day - is that a bad thing?
Also - I would like to replace apples & bananas with a lower carb fruit option - any suggestions?
Thanks
Jen

I have caffeine every morning (dt.coke) but I stop drinking it at 1pm. I think the amount you are having sounds fine especially since you aren't sweetening the drink at all. As for watching carbs, I don't think you should be cutting out good carbs like apples and bananas-those are great foods to keep away hunger and cravings. I would say to watch grains and pasta more to cut carbs then fruit.0
