Don't attempt any plan you can't see yourself happily following forever.4

You might have been trying to lose too much too fast. Slow down your pace and enjoy the process more.

keep trying.. that's all you can do. The people who get to goal have failed many times.. but keep trying and they finally get there. Look at what you're doing..where things are going wrong.
1. is your calorie limit too low? Maybe adjust your goal to one pound a week or a half pound a week. Best to lose slow and eat more so you can make progress
2. Are you moving more and exercising? Find some exercise you enjoy... that increases your calories burned and you can lose more by just doing that..and you could eat some of those calories back if you want and still continue to make progress.
If I didn't work out.. i'd be struggling ...but i do and i'm making slow steady progress. Good Luck!0 -
If you can't stay on track..get off of it.
Change your track..try a new one..change up your food, your exercise, make it new..something to look forward to..
Just enjoy the journey you're on. It may seem like you won't get to your destination, but you will. Plus, if you slow down and enjoy the journey, you'll love the destination even more once you arrive.
Best wishes to you!0 -
Pick your goal, set that goal and set it to a reasonable and achievable goal. Commit with everything you have, know there will be bad days, but knowing this will help you move past those bad days and keep moving forward.0

I find exercise keeps me focused. Much harder to justify eating a lot when you are sweating it out most days0

Find an exercise you hate and every time you fancy something you know you shouldn't think of how much of that exercise you need to do to burn it off.0

Yeah...that sounds like the road to mental health and wellbeing. I'm just going to assume you are joking.2 -
Ive been yoyoing within the same 15-20 pounds the last few years but I've finally decided this is the last time. I had to figure out what was causing it? It was my mentality that once I lose the weight that I am a skinny person that can eat everything and also that their will always be temptation around, its not just something I am going to eat once or twice a year. Also I was emotionally eating, I went to therapy about other issues and its helped, now I channel that energy into exercise, reading and other positive routes.0

While it requires immense patience, it TRULY is best to go slowly and make small, but permanent changes you can live with along the way. And when you lose weight, Fight hard to keep it off. It's easier to maintain than to start over time and time again. Lean on this community for education and support.2
