The box of pasta says one serving is 56g, or 2 oz. Is this the DRY measure or cooked measure?

I live in Italy. We always weigh our pasta dry before cooking. And yes, people are just used to weighing food here.1

Always dry! For pastas I eat a lot, I will write down how much one 56g / 2oz dry serving weighs once it's cooked and will go by that number later when I'm feeling lazier. The end weight can vary depending on how much water is absorbed but it's close enough for most meals.0
