Hello MFP friends... Just a quick question. On most days I am over on my sugar intake. I have really only been following my calories and trying to stay some where between 1200. I am not diabetic or have any health problems. It just seems so hard to stay in the green for sugar.

Since you have no medical problems, don't worry about it.0 -
Sugar is a carb. Just track carbs, and don't worry about sugar.0

weight loss wise: you could eat nothing but raw sugar and still loss weight if you are in a deficit
Health wise: not a problem if a majority of this sugar is fructose (fruit etc) and not really a problem if you arent diabetic.
Try to limit eating anything too sugary first thing after not eating for hours (first thing in the morning) as spiking your insulin supposedly encourages lower belly fat, but as you are in a deficit you wont GAIN belly fat.. but you may make it so belly fat is the last or lowest area you loose weight from first.0
