Epidural steroid / trigger point injections and male fertility

An oddball question. My wife and I are going to start trying to have a baby. I have some steriod shots lined up towards the end of the year and am a little concerned if that has any negative genetic effects on my end (ie more prone to down syndrome, autism, etc).

Her OB did not have an answer to this question and I thought maybe someone here has had that question answered before by their doctor.

Any help?
