I've been doing low carb interspersed with periods of ketosis for about 3 years now. I've lost 70lbs (even with a pregnancy tossed into those years) with 30 more to go til goal weight. When I do keto I find myself hardly ever hungry during the day
and then trying to just make it to over 1000 cals when I have dinner . Is this like IF? If I'm not feeling hungry should I just eat anyway? I just don't want to be doing something that's potentially unhealthy (and no I don't consider ketosis to be unhealthy) and harmful to my metabolism. Thanks!

Do you mean you're struggling to eat more than 1,000 calories overall? Or that you're eating the recommended number of calories but most of them are during dinner?

    Congrats on your weight loss.

I'm not sure I am following you... No, that's not like IF. IF is eating within a few hours (6-8 usually), or eating maintenance for 5 or so ays and fasting for 2 or so days (usually 500 cal days).

I took a peek in your diary and only saw 1 1000 calorie day, several entries 1200-1800, several unlogged days.. no weighed out foods and incomplete entries.

For the days where you have a hard time reaching your calories, add more fat. Do you count cooking oil into your calories?
