Need some guidance for weight loss

Hello all, I have been using myfitnesspal for a couple years but not constantly (hardly ever). I have finally hit that rock bottom where my weight has to go. I have had majority of my mother's side of the family pass away including my mother to cancer and diabetes. I want to try and lose 30 pounds in 10 weeks. Is this possible with 30 minutes of excercise 5-6 days a week and a 1230 calorie intake ? I just need some help to make sure I am sucessful I am currently 257 and I am trying to get down to 227. My ultimate goal is to lose 100 pounds by April 2014. Any advice for me would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!:smile:
