Has anyone kept the weight off after fasting?

If you used a one day fast to help you get a reasonable weekly deficit, and then stuck to your maintenance levels in the days following, then yes, the weight should definitely stay off. If you aren't tracking calories your appetite my lead you to overeat in the days following and wipe out your deficit.
But unless your normal daily consumption is 3500 calories or more, a one day fast that has resulted in a one pound or more weight loss is not going to stay off because it's at least in part just reflecting a change in water retention.0 -
