Charity Boxing Challenge help and support

Options
Hey everyone,

So I have signed up to UWCB which is a charity boxing event to raise money for cancer research. On the 3rd December I will step into the run. Infront of 1500 people and fight. I've never had a fight before and I have 8 weeks to get super fit healthy and strong. Any help, supporters, friends absolutely anything at all if anyone can help or is doing a similar challenge I'd love to hear about it.

Feel free to add me - can't wait to hear everyone's stories!!

Roxy

That's good of you to do the event. Probably the best way to prepare is to train at a boxing studio and if you can't find one then a kickboxing or other martial arts studio. Watch your breathing (people that haven't ever exercised like that tend to hold their breath when they punch which makes them tire out quickly). And remember for a charity event people are just watching for fun...they don't expect professional fights or fighters.

Have fun. Keep your hands up, keep light on your feet, and keep moving.
