Back to MFP...again

Hi everyone,
I've lost 38 pounds over the last 3 and a half months, mainly with Weight Watchers and some with My Fitness Pal. I'm atempting to lose the weight I gained when I was pregnant with my daughter, I had a difficult pregnancy and was told by my doctor I couldn't do any strenuous exercise. My little darling was 1 in May so I thought I'd spent long enough putting off getting back on track! I struggled to settle with Weight Watchers, I'd count my calories too and I wasn't eating enough even when I'd eaten all my points. I find MFP makes me more accountable and more aware of what I'm actually eating but still allows me the odd treat. So, I'm sticking with MFP this time round, ready and determined to get my pre-baby self back!

Welcome!
The app alone really does work, every time I have used it I have lost weight, and when I think I can try going without it, I end up gradually putting it back on and coming back again. If strenuous exercise is not an option, check with your Dr first of course, but myself and a co-worker have used the keto diet with great results, he did not exercise at all for the first month as he acclimated and lost a significant amount of weight quickly, which made easing back into exercise easier for him.
Good luck!0 -

I have started to have really success once I started looking at nutrition as a whole and not just how many calories I eat. Everything in moderation.0
