Getting ready for this storm they've been carrying on about? What's the weather like where you are?

It's windy in Portland. Power has been flickering. It's a good day for tea and reading, but not quite the weather drama I was expecting...

My niece is in Portland. I'm glad it's calming down.

I'm in Arlington- still waiting for this terrible, scary storms the news has been talking about! What the heck? I've got tons and tons of rain but no wind. (Not complaining)

Just outside of Vancouver, It's wet but not windy yet. Supposedly the winds will be here shortly. So far, it was worse yesterday.

Victoria, it's been wet, but just normal wet and wind. We have had a couple of storms this past month that were worse, with no mega warnings. One knocked the power out for a couple of hours.
    Stay safe and warm.

    Cheers, h.

Around the Seattle/Tacoma area in washington. Lots of rain, occassional high speed winds. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Power flickered a few times no outages in my area I have come acrossed yet.

We ended up with no wind or power issues here in Arlington. Glad everyone is safe!

No kidding! Although, I'm not sure how much more rain can fall before the Stillaguamish ends up blocking the road outta here!

I was so happy it didn't really hit. If my power goes out it can be a week before it's up again. I love that we have limited neighbors but that's the draw back.

That's the same problem I have. If it goes out here, it's days before it's back on.

West puget sound. No worse than many winter storms.

I was wondering if you would chime in @lorrpb. Glad you had no disruptions.
As you said no worse than most winter storms, in fact gentler than most we get no warning for.

    Cheers, h.
