Starting to get easier staying in my calorie range meaning I can go to birthday parties, family functions, etc. with junk food served there without feeling tempted to eat any of it. Being asked for a piece of cake and kindly passing it up (was a little hard, but I did it). It felt great rejecting those major calorie foods. Getting any easier for anyone else?

Good god yes ! It's great to have done it a while and even when I'm guessing I'm usually close to the amount of calories I'm eating !

How long before it started feeling easier? Finding it so hard...sigh.

@ Hope_bay74 ..... some days seem longer than others but before you know it you will fly through days without thinking about it the changes will became routine! Hang in there !

It's easier for me on a day to day basis but the special occasion is still hard, so I have to prepare myself before I arrive, but I look forward to the day that I can just say no thanks without a mental battle going on! LOL

I intermittent fast every day, yet cook hot meals for my family all day every day. So I'll have coffee, and watch my family eat pancakes and bacon.

I also bake a lot, so they snarf down the elaborate cakes and cookies I make and I get a small taste.

I think the cooking makes it easier to do, although its counterintuitive?
