Id like to share my husbands journey, he's not on here so i'm sharing his story. about a year ago, he had to have all his upper teeth pulled. He chose to wait for dentures till his gums healed. Our son gave him an older Nutribullit, he repaired it & put all his meals in there to drink with added almond milk. In the morning he made drink out of fruit/veggies. for dinner he just put whatever i made in there with milk. He started doing research on whats good for you & has become very good at it. He got his dentures about 2 months ago & can chew but still has a few drinks he makes during the day. He has lost about 70 lbs, got off insulin & heart meds & goes to the gym & feels great!! I started using it since May & love it. We also bought the RX one so we make soup in it too.
So, you can "juice" & be healthy as long as you juice all the nutrition you need

Your husband had a medical reason to puree his normal food. This does not at all compare to what the original poster is plan on doing. She is drinking juice for 60 days.

Not to mention I am sure the hubby didn't feel like he was punishing himself by eating.

GREAT point. There just is no comparison between hubby's medical reason and the OP's need to lose weight fast.

When you think of people who are really sick and have to have all their food pureed, this post is very sad OP. I know you're gone but hope you change your mind. Grownups have to make mature decisions--do it.

That's not juicing, but making smoothies, which keep all the fiber and often contain added protein and fats.

I have a nutribullet and love a breakfast smoothie, which I make with nut milk (I include the nuts) or powdered peanuts or 2% greek yogurt or goats milk/yogurt for some fat (or a combination), with various sorts of protein powder (plus the nuts or greek yogurt) for protein, and lots and lots of vegetables, as well as some fruit. Sometimes avocado for the fat, too, or hemp or flaxseed.

I would play with this more if I had to survive on it as my sole source of nutrients. However, this is quite different from juicing (one concern about juicing is what I mentioned above about fat and protein, and it also removes a ton of the fiber, as others have mentioned). So not the same.

I have a nutribullet I use to supplement my intake. I eat most of my meals and will have one drink (usually spinach, veg and/or fruit, and when needed some protein powder to top of my protein goals)

OP, people have already mentioned the fats and proteins, you will also be losing fibre. These are all important to good health. I get that you've already made up your mind, so my response is more for the lurkers. There are stories of how sick some people have become following an all juice diet. Why not just follow a healthy meal plan and add juice if you want the extra calories/micronutrients? Or at least with a blended diet, such as the nutribullet, you can add protein powder, keep the fibre, and supplement the essential fats that your body needs for healthy functioning.

Oh, looks like I won't be getting support then, haha. The juice diet is the diet for me as I do better when not actually allowed to eat, which I know may sound bad but it's how I am. The difficult part I know will be sustaining that so I plan to work very hard at that.

Unless you plan on sustaining this juice diet forever, you're most likely just going to end up gaining it all back PLUS some when you stop the juice diet. Not a wise long-term solution. :/

    Not a wise short-term one, either. ;)
