Green Tea pills

Caffeine pills without the ephedra in them. I know they are very common now in gas stations and stores. How bad are they for you? Aren't they just the same as drinking a bunch of coffee? Can they cause bad health effects? Anyone have thoughts on this subject?

Yes, having too much caffeine (from any source) can kill you.
In fact, late last year or early this year the FDA convinced companies to stop selling powdered caffeine because there were overdose deaths. Even some people who drank lots of energy drinks have had serious problems.
Read through the signs & symptoms of overdose, and pay attention to your body.

One advantage to drinking it as coffee / tea is that you're replacing some of the water it will pull from your body.
If you take caffeine pills, remember to drink lots of water with them.
And it's not going to help you lose weight, just stay awake.0
