So I've decided I need to do something other than cardio to help with my weight loss. I also want to start toning to help with loose skin and my flabby bits.

Here is what I came up on my own...I have no idea if this is a good regime. Any advice is greatly appreciated. (Keep in mind I am very limited with weights, hence the bodyweight workouts)

Workout A:
Jumping Jacks
Squats
Pushups
Crunches
Jumping Jacks
Walking Lunges
Tricep Dip
Planks
-Repeat 3 times

Workout B:
High Knees
Squats
Bird-Dog
Bicycle
High Knees
Hip Extension
Superman
Side Planks
-Repeat 3 times

Alternating Workouts A & B on Mon, Wed, Fri
Running on Tues, Thurs, Sat
Sunday Rest

I would suggest adding other exercise like mountain climbers, burpees, & bridges.
And perhaps varying the types of squats, lunges, pushups you do as well.
Maybe throw in an occasional set of bear crawls or duck walks.

I think it's a good start, but if you're really wanting to solve your "loose skin" and "flabby bits" you will need to incorporate more resistance (i.e. weights) into your fitness program. You won't build muscle or "tone" with just bodyweight exercises.

Is there anything we can do to help you be more comfortable with incorporating weight-training into your fitness program? Do you have access to a gym, equipment, etc.?

Again, I think the program you designed is a good start. And it looks like a killer workout. If you do this, then you have my admiration.

But I think if you can include at least two days of barbell/dumbbell type lifting, and use this program as 1-2 "off days" then I think you'll expedite the progress towards your goals.

Yikes! I don't mean to start anything, and I'll say right up front I'm probably considered a beginner in MOST fitness arenas, afterall I found this thread by doing a search for bodyweight exercises, but I believe the quoted statement is entirely FALSE.

There are TONS of people who have built muscle only using bodyweight exercises, think of most gymnasts and ballet dancers. While some may in fact lift weights, many do not and they are EXTREMELY muscular, it's just they carry it differently than lifters.

ALSO I am BY NO MEANS trying to say that one is better than the other as I think both weight lifting training and body weight training have exceptional qualities and ultimately it comes down with what is available to you and what you like personally!

And now that I've stated my objection I see this thread is from 2013, so nobody will probably see this anyway.
