Neck and shoulders stiff/sore, should I skip weights today?

For a couple of days I've had sore neck and shoulders, those body aches you get when you're coming down with something, but it hasn't progressed into anything. My energy feels fine, but the stiffness is still there. I took yesterday off, and the day before that, the day the soreness started, was just a running day (so i can rule out weight lifting injury). I guess I should not lift it my muscles are achy. What would you do? Cardio instead, or another rest day? I'm afraid of losing my momentum, since I've been losing weight and feeling so fit lately.
