So, I'm a football columnist, and the beautiful game is my life. Want to know if anyone else shares the same passion.

Show your support. I want to know your favorite club, local club you support and the national team you support. I'll start.

Favorite club: Real Madrid
Local club: New York Red Bulls
National Team: Costa Rica

I'll be driving to Connecticut in a few hours to cover the USA vs. Costa Rica Gold Cup match. Should be fun.

    Still a Red Bull. Scored a goal and had two assists on Saturday. Team won 4-0 over Montreal.

    I was watching the "Damned United" the other day. I LOVE that movie. Second favorite football film, behind "Green Street Hooligans"

    Trust me, as a Red Bulls supporter, I know what it's like to root for England. We lose in ways I never thought possible too.

    I've done road trips to Chicago (fire), New Jersey (NYRB), Seattle (MLS Cup), LA (MLS Cup), Montreal (Impact), Foxborough (Revolution), Philadelphia (Union - SCARY AS HELL!)... I think that's it. I'm also a TFC season ticket holder :D

    I find Man united the most interesting and likable of the "top" teams, I think you'll do fine without Rooney, his attitude stinks and the team is strong without him

    "Damned United" is fantastic...I don't care too much for the hooligan movies.

    Don't watch that many Man U or Ireland games these days for different reasons, but Sligo Rovers are in the Champions League play offs tonight and I'm excited for that!

    ive been a huge international soccer fan for decades. started following club teams after the 2006 World Cup.

    MLS: DC United followed them since the start of MLS but only on a very casual level.
