Canned veggies weight/serving entry

I'm a little confused when logging canned beans or veggies like green beans. The weight (in grams) that is listed on the label--are they including the liquid? I usually drain and just use the solids but the serving size drained never matches the weight in grams on the label. The dry weight doesn't add up to 3.5 servings. Do you know what I mean? No way there is usually anywhere near 3.5 roughly 1/2 cup servings in that can using the gram weight listed. I have found some entries in the database that say drained for green beans that sound like they might be accurate and for beans, I just find an entry for cooked from dry. Is this as correct as I can get? What do you do? I don't use too many canned items.

I just drain and measure the beans. There will always be a small margin of error for counting calories so I try not to over think things.
You could always drain, weigh it, then divide the weight by servings, and that's how many grams per serving to use.1 -
I would compare to USDA entry for drained canned green beans (or whatever):

Watch out for the sodium too.0
