Looking for something somewhat affordable, but also memorable. Our honeymoon will end up being our wedding gift....
My fiancé and I aren't ones to want to lay around on the beach so some place with lots of stuff to do and a warm climate. It can still be a beach area but like I said, as long as there is activites! Any suggestions would be great bc we have no clue where to look!

All you need is a room, a bed, and room service.... The rest is just bonus..

We did an all inclusive resort in the Riviera Maya part of Mexico. It was awesome because it was part of a chain of resorts that let you stay at one but take part in the activities and restaurants at any of the others. There were plenty of activities and excursions to keep us busy too (snorkeling, touring mayan ruins, atv tours through the jungle, etc)

Not sure how cheap you are looking for but my wife and I have done much of Central America (Belize, Costa Rica, Honduras...) all for pretty cheap. And they have a lot to do there and adventures instead of just beach time.

I would do an all inclusive resort. Check Livingsocial and Groupon too. Sometimes you can find some awesome deals for those on there.

My husband and I went to Sonoma, California and went ziplining in the redwoods, to the six flags there and then to San Fransisco for a day.We had a good time and it wasn't super expensive.

I'd suggest Costa Rica, BEAUTIFUL. You don't need a tour package they have zip lines and such in every city (wish I had known that) Just pick one city. La Fortuna, Costa Rica has a volcano is small and quaint, street food and small town feel. Manuel Antonio would be my top pick, lots to do, hot springs, the beach, physical activities and most beautiful of the 3 cities I visited. San Jose was sketchy, at least the part I ended up in. I'm sure most of the tropics would be a good choice. Note: Air conditioning is a thing they will turn off in your room when you are not there and most places like supermarkets do not have it.

There are a lot of really affordable options as far as hotels in Santorini, Greece. It was the greatest travel experience I've had!

Well the climate will depend on when you're going... but I'd look at France or Italy (I'm French though so I might be biased).

Belize is great, I had a really fun time there. You can choose to stay out on a caye with good snorkeling options, or stay on the mainland with more access to excursions like cave tubing, ziplining, and visiting the Mayan ruins. It's cheap, and it seems like there's always a Groupon for somewhere in Belize.
