Why is fat bad?
Why do we want to lower body fat percent, and not body muscle percent? Is it because the internet said so? There is no study done to date that shows that a lower muscle percent will not lead to a longer life expectancy when controlled for gender and health specific issues related to the mortality and the longevity coefficients of correlations. If you can show me one study that shown otherwise, I will delete my MFP account forever.

Really!?! Other than all the evidence that lower muscle amounts results in higher injury rates in older people often leading not only to reduced quality of life, but often death from complications from falls. You are not going to be young forever.0
