High end/ Designer tie brands for men

Hey guys! I have a birthday coming up and he always buys me really great gifts. I know lately he has been into ties and things. But I don't know what brands are good. Should I stick with an Armani, or are there more well known brands out there? I want something high end, but nothing too crazy (I'm not a millionaire). Thanks!

Somewhat correct, I am not into 50 Shades; it's abusive (from what I've gleaned, without reading/seeing it).

I just bought a new Ermenegildo Zegna tie.
It was at Goodwill for $3.00.

Ties..... I live in the American Southwest
We really don't wear ties down here.
Maybe for a wedding or a funeral. I sort of miss wearing one. * shrug1 -
