Fibromyalgia questions - Weird hives after working out?

Hello again! Whew, it's been a roller coaster. I lost 50 pounds a year and a half ago, got bit by -something-, got a terrible That thing. Got so many rounds of antibiotics I lost count, and steroids.
Gained all the weight back, but still felt really really bad. Down, can't sleep, keep breaking out for a year with these
Kept getting strep infections left and right, and had a low fever for most of the year. Was really sucky.
Fast forward through all the testing, all of which has turned out negative, the terrible muscle pain, overwhelming fatigue, lack of good sleeping, and etc, and I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
That's a long winded backstory to ask you all this: I am starting to work out very slowly, but every time I DO work out, raise my heart rate for a short bit, etc, I am getting what I guess are hives. They aren't bug bites, I can literally watch/feel them forming and whoa god do they itch. Is there anyway around this? Why is it happening? am I doing something wrong?
I've asked my doctors and no definitive answer has been found. Has this happened to others?
Thanks!

Have a look at this article ... especially the section entitled "Mad Itching".

My thighs get all itchy when I cycle or run ... not every time, just once in a while like when it's cold out.
This article was the first time I discovered it was actually a thing.0 -
You might want to check out Alpha-gal symptoms. It's caused by a tick bite. I had it and had no idea that I had a tick bite but when the lab results came back it was positive. I had been having those hives for six months and they kept getting worse as time went on. Also it destroys your immune system so that infections are very problematic. The cure was not to eat mammalian meat, and not to use products with mammalian by-products in them, like lotions that contain lanolin. It took me six months to get my titer down to negative but the symptom took a drastic cut immediately! Most doctors don't know about it, it was just discovered in 2009 at the University of VA and it can be deadly if it isn't treated!1

I second the alpha-gal test. It's an easy blood test they can do. Talk to an allergist if you need to. If you have it, it will be in your blood and you will know definitively yes or no. It can be deadly, so get tested! It may or may not go away over time. Another thing it could be, although rare, is exercise-induced anaphylaxis. Yes, that's a thing. You can try things like taking a Benadryl an hour before running. Also, keep a food log. Back to the alpha-gal meat allergy, it differs from all other food allergies in that there is a delayed onset of symptoms, from 2-8 hours after eating meat. Exercise seems to trigger the symptoms faster. Also, pork is considered a red meat, too.0
