Having trouble coming up with a concrete diet plan.

I weight about 125

I'm trying to gain muscle the clean way, with no junk food.
How accurate are the suggested diet/nutrition plan that My Fitness Pal creates?

You do realize that this has literally no baring on fat gain right? Fat gain is dictated by size of your calorie surplus. Now, that isn't to suggest that you shouldn't eat whole nutritious foods, but putting limiters on the types of food you eat is going to make it harder.

MFP doesn't create plans (at least that I know of). Their recommended macro's may or may not be off depending on your actual calorie needs. And they suggested calories may or may not be off based on actually body needs. Track for 4 weeks and if you don't gain, add another 250 calories.

Set MFP to your desired goal (0.5-1lb per week gain), eat to the calorie goal and enjoy your gains. What you eat does not matter (lean meats, veg, rice, pizza, ice cream) as they are made up from the same protein/carbs/fats.

Or you can pay me $300 write a meal plan (joking).
