Yo yo dieting

Everytime I try to lower my calorie intake by even just a little I always end up binging the next day because I feel deprived. Then I end up eating twice the amount I should even for just maintenance. How am I supposed to lose weight if I can't even handle a small calorie deficit?

Sounds like it's mind over matter.

Start with a deficit of 0.5lb per week. That's not a massive reduction in calories. Aim to hit your fat and protein goals and get plenty of fibre

How about leaving your calories at maintenance, and creating a deficit through exercise? I haven't been successful with trying to eat less either, so while eating at maintenance I've started to log my exercise without logging the calorie burn so that I don't eat them back. It's working for me so far, but it's really a mental thing for me. If it's the same for you it might be worth a try.
