Looking for tips on a good workout/meal plan. I've tried NROLFW but i just couldnt get into it...
I would prefer strength training types of programs over cardio.

Thanks in advance :)

Have you looked into Stronglifts 5x5? It may be a better option.

As for a meal plan, eat the foods you enjoy in appropriate quantities. Focus on whole foods, but don't deprive yourself of a treat every so often if you want one/have room for it.

The best program for you is what you enjoy, can stick with, and gives you results.

I enjoy full body circuit style strength training for 1 hour 2 or 3 times a week, and hiit cardio like sprint/walk intervals, running stairs, body weight exercises, plyo etc 2 or 3 times a week, walking, and the occasional hike or yoga class. I take about 2 days off a week, sometimes 3.

But that's what works for ME. You might like jogging or power lifting or martial arts...

For meal planning again it's just whatever works for you. I like small meals and lots of snacks- I eat 5 to 7 mini meals a day. Some people like to eat large portions 1 or 2 times a day. It just depends what works best for your schedule, digestion, preference, etc.

There is no "best" exercise or meal plan.

The main thing is just to be in an adequate but not excessive calorie deficit, get enough protein, and exercise if you want to for health, strength and to be able to eat a few more calories.

    Also consistency is important.

    That's it.

If you're looking for strength training programs you can find free ones on bodybuilding.com or probably some other places online or in magazines too.

You can find paid training programs from various fitness trainers or coaches online.

You could make up your own training program and just make sure it is well rounded and track your reps and weights for each exercise and just try to improve a little bit each week with weight or volume. (This is what I have been doing lately)

You could get some workout videos

You could go on fitnessblender on YouTube and follow one of their programs or pick & choose from all their various workout videos (I do a lot of their hiit workouts but they have strength training too)

The world is your oyster, I hope you find something fun & effective :)
