Congrats! Have you set up mfp yet? How long until your wedding?
If yes, then eat these calories, add exercise then eat 1/3 of those days exercise calories back. Mfp is designed this way.
There are no tips or tricks. Just eat what you like at that calorie goal. Don't eat under that goal all the time. No need to completely cut foods out unless you have an illness that requires you to do so. Don't choose a too aggressive weight loss (1lb per week is great for you) or you'll end up feeling awful for your big day.2 -
What do you weigh now, how tall are you, and when is the big day?1

I'm 13 stone 2 (well I was on Monday when I started) I'm 5ft2 and I'm getting married 15th September 2018 although I'm going to look at dresses in July next year so I want to feel good doing that and be close to picturing myself at my final goal. It's not all about weight on the scales, that's just a rough goal really. I do 5k treadmill runs about 3 times a week, I like going to Zumba classes, I do kettlebell workouts in the gym. I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing xx0

Congratulations!!
I'm 13 stone and 5ft 2ins as well. My wedding is planned for 2019, but I have already found the dress. I also have around 4 stones to lose, but I hope to lose some of that before my holiday in April. I would be more than happy to support you on your journey0 -
You can make great strides between now and July. At your starting stats, I think you could lose 30-35 lbs by July. Then between then and the next July when you may start dress alterations, you can lose another 20 lbs. I like to err on the conservative side just for the sake of being reasonable.
I would strongly suggest getting started on strength training right now. Eating right and doing cardio will help you lose weight and get heart healthy. But strength training goes a looooong way toward improving your body shape even when at a higher weight. If you have never done it before you will be surprised at what a difference it makes.2 -
