Sugar intake?

These past weeks, I've been losing weight easily. I'm eating 1800 calories and I workout regularly. Aside from working out, I have an active lifestyle anyways. I'm able to lose a pound a week this way and even some weeks I'll lose 1.5lbs. Visibly, there's a difference too. I look a lot thinner.
Because of this, I never bothered to check the nutrients category of this app. But today, out of curiosity, I did. I was shocked to see that some days I get up to 100g of sugar.
Should I be worried about this? It hasn't hindered weight loss, but I know too much sugar is bad for you anyways. Can people consume more sugar when they're more active? Thanks!

Don't worry about it. The app doesn't differentiate between added sugar and things like lactose and fructose, which are dairy and fruit sugars.

There is no need to worry if you don't have a medical reason to monitor it (e.g., diabetes).
I don't even track sugar. I track fiber instead.3 -
I wasn't tracking sugar-because most of it came from fruit until I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
So my advice-get a blood sugar test on your next dr's visit and if it comes back fine don;t worry about sugar.

If you are able to consume a nutrient dense diet of reasonable calorie intake, consistently, then I wouldn't worry about it.
I wrote a more detailed take on sugar here:
