Need Some Help

Working out, staying slim and eating healthily has been a priority of mine since I was 15 but in the past year things have changed. I'm the most I've every weighed and I'm not nearly as consistent with my workout routine. My problem is that I don't seem to have the desire I once had to stay slim.

I think my desire to lose weight and workout has greatly diminished in the past year for a number of reasons; the stress of law school, I have more friends than in undergrad and now I seem to be prioritizing friends over working out and I'm less self critical. I think in undergrad I really committed to working out and eating healthy because I didn't have that many friends and it was a way to not be lonely and make me feel good. In terms of being self-critical, its really refreshing not having so much self-imposed pressure but at the same time I really miss how much control I used to have.

Sorry for the rambling, I'm just feeling really discouraged and scared about this new laissez faire attitude I have.

Maybe instead of blowing off the gym to hang out with your friends.... get your friends to come work out with you??
