I think I might of bruised my bone from box jumps (obviously missed the box lol) its been 4 days, any jumping or running is pretty painful not sharp but like pressure and bruised feeling. I have banged my shins on box jumps twice before (yep I dont learn) and haven't hurt like this before.
Anyway what is the best way to recover from this? Avoid exercises that involves impact on my shins?

A doctor is the proper person to give injury advice... but if it were me, i would rest it, and if it was swollen, i would ice it. If symptoms worsened and there was spreading redness, swelling or numbness, i'd go to an urgent care clinic or ER ASAP.
That's why i don't like box jumps. If you want alternatives, let us know what your goals are.0 -
Have you been using Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevate? If so, and the pain isn't subsiding, I would recommend going to urgent care and having it x-rayed. Witch Hazel is good for healing bruises....soak a rag in it and lay the rag on top of the bruise for about 20 minutes twice a day while elevating.1

Sorry that happened. Bruised bones can be very painful and take longer than you might think to feel better. Ice helps for the first few days, then it takes a huge dose of patience!1
