High(ish) Carb and Low Fat??

Just wondering,
What do you guys think of a diet that is in a medium range for carbs like 200g accompanied by very low fat. Not on purpose, this is sort of what my diet looks like. I am usually extremely low on fat and almost always meeting my allotment for carbs. Is this effective? Again - I haven't done this on purpose, I just choose tons of fruits and veggies with lean meats and low fat dairy.
Will this combo effect weight loss? Speed it up? Slow it down? I exercise regularly (at least 6x a week, cardio & strength). I am sort of a believer in the saying "if you don't want fat on your body, don't consume any fat"... even though I realize there are plenty of healthy fats out there.

I think your on the right track, I've started buying foods that have low fat or sugar free and lean meats and its working out for me. Its a bit slow since I don't work out as much as I would like to but I'm making an effort to keep my body healthy and to feel good. Eating more fruits and veggies is the ideal way to help lose weight. Not only does it help keep you full from eating the bad stuff, but your body takes in a lot of the good vitamins and whatnot. As long as you stay in your calorie goal and make sure your not over your sugars and fats, you should do all right.0

Ha, this. Also, some vitamins are fat soluble, and so *some* fat is required for absorption. I don't know the minimum required. I think there are plenty of other options for "good" fats, so why not just incorporate those into your diet. Just don't go for low fat dairy and add avocados to your veg/salad/etc. Nevermind eggs and peanut butter. Lots of options. Nothing in your diet is an accident unless you have to scavenge what you eat. Eat deliberately to reach your goals. I would think that would require more than "very low fat".0
