Cutting way down on alcohol

I'm resuming my calorie counting because my weight was creeping up again. I've been successful for 2 weeks at cutting back my alcohol consumption from 2 drinks a day to 2 a week. My weight has stabilized, but I expected it to go down a bit. What should I expect assuming my activity level and food intake remains the same?

Not sure what you drink, but for example, red wine, measured properly at 5oz, is 120 calories per glass, or 240 calories per day. 240x7 = 1680 calories. Add two drinks back in, that's 1440 calories per week you are saving. You can do the math based on your stats.

240 x 6 days = 1440, so You would lose an additional .4 per week, assuming EVERYTHING else is EXACTLY the same. If your wine serving is more or less than what @nowine4me listed, then of course your loss rate after cutting back also will be more or less.
