Hi,

I planning on cooking this receipe (below) however it you cook Butternut Squash in the skin. I have no idea of how to log the Butternut Squash. Shall I weigh it whole then weigh the scooped out seeds and weigh those (take it off the whole weight) to get a rough idea? Any ideas welcome!

Find a cooked entry for butternut squash (this is a good source: https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/search/list, there should be a matching one on MFP), and weigh and log it cooked, just what you eat plus any oil/butter that you add. If you are adding it to a recipe build a recipe.

I eat winter squash a lot and always use cooked entries.
