Why is my Mom awesome?

By awesome I want to explain. She connects people. She loves. She sees the world in a way that paints a clean canvass. She hopes. She believes. I don't do any of these things. Which is why My mom is my mom. She's awesome.

Why? I ask her that all the time. "Why," is what children ask. It's what children do.

It's what adults do too. And we all look to Mom. And still, we ask....

Why?

  • Being a mom to a six year old, I get that question a lot. I really don't know all of the answers but to my son I'm the all knowing. That's enough for me. Cheers to your mom! :drinker:

This post made me smile. I am a mom to 2 boys and I hope that when they're your age, they still trust and look up to me enough to feel like they can and want to come to me for answers/advice.

Moms are pretty awesome, including my own!

    hahaha

I adore my mom..... She's one of the strongest most capable women I know. Definitely my role model for so many things.
And she inspires. And she loves. And she welcomes. Always.

I'm jealous. My six year old thinks SHE has all the answers. :grumble:

To quote the great philosopher, George Carlin -

“Some people see things that are and ask, Why?
Some people dream of things that never were and ask, Why not?
Some people have to go to work and don't have time for all that.”
