Without know a thing about you and perhaps how to see which one you might fit in....
it is the activity level you setup in MFP that is NOT exercise.. Below I have copied the activities section.. If you sit most of the day (does not include exercise) you are sedentary, if you spend time on your feet lets say 4 - 6 hours like a teacher would, you are lightly active, and so on and so forth..
The higher the level you choose the more calories you eat to lose weight + adding exercise on top of that (but use caution on setting this level above sedentary and adding back exercise to this level.. it might take some tweaking after the first 4-6 weeks to determine the actual exercise equation to your weight loss when using lightly or active).
Sedentary: Spend most of the day sitting (e.g. bank teller, desk job)
Lightly Active: Spend a good part of the day on your feet (e.g. teacher, salesman)
Active: Spend a good part of the day doing some physical activity (e.g. waitress, mailman)
Very Active: Spend most of the day doing heavy physical activity (e.g. bike messenger, carpenter0
