So I worked out my calories to loose weight , and my calories to maintain so ive gone for a number inbetween weight . Ive decided to increase my CALS from 1200 to 1500
Daily and not eating exercise calories back . This sound ok ?

As long as you're consistent about your exercise, yes. I don't know what your sedentary calorie goal would be, nor do I know your loss rate. If you're looking to lose fifteen pounds, you can probably do a pound a week, but not for much longer. That's a 500 calorie per day deficit. The closer you get to goal, the harder it becomes to sustain the same level of deficit, so you have to trim back your deficit to get appropriate nutrition.
I don't know that avoiding binges through restriction is sustainable, so I can't really speak to it. If binges are a problem, try to identify what your trigger foods are and work them in to your calorie goals in reasonable quantities.1 -
NOPE. If I have a dead out rule that I can't have something, there's a distinct possibility I will be binging on it sooner than later. Better to have that bowl of ice cream, than to eat the whole container, in the dark, with a spoon....3

I think it's always best to eat as much as possible and still lose.
Keep very good records and be consistent. Consistent intake is what helps me stay on goal. The restricting never works for me. 1500 sounds good, like 6502program said above.0 -
The best way that I avoid binge eating is by avoiding the activity that causes binge eating. For me it's browsing my computer late at night. So now I just use my phone instead so that i also have my hands occupied and I wont want to hold food.1

As long as increasing your calories means you'll be eating a little of the foods that you might have been denying yourself earlier and that was what was triggering binges.... yes that sounds okay. I agree with @cmriverside. The goal should be to eat as much as you can while still losing weight. This shouldn't be a race to get to a specific number on the scale as quickly as possible. Eat now like you're planning to eat once you reach your goal weight... just eat 250 or 500 calories less.

Maybe it's the spoon that's the problem?0
