Just one accountability partner would be great, friendship would be icing on the cake! Looking for a like minded person to share a fitness and weight loss journey with. I'm not here to see how many friends can add to a friend list...I'm serious about getting a plan together and moving forward.
About me:
Who I am: 46 year old female, family, full time nurse, grad student. I’m tough in many ways, kind of sarcastic and very loyal. I like to mess around and not be too serious, but also try to be respectful of others.
What I want to accomplish: My bucket list item is to complete an Ironman. I have previously completed one Olympic distance tri, but let myself go over the past year and a half. Losing around 40-50 pounds will be in order. It would be great to work with someone that has a fitness goal in mind. I am not an athlete, but would like to be one when I grow up
Where I live: Hawaii (yes it’s beautiful, but not all butterflies and rainbows people)
When: Will start in ernest in the first week of December. I have a family vacay next month.
Why: I hate that my body is telling me it will not tolerate underuse and weight gain. My knees have started hurting and I miss feeling as good as I used to when I was more on top of my fitness and diet. An accountability partner does not need to be a babysitter, just someone to be honest and to bounce ideas off of.
How: I will work hard to develop realistic workout and weight loss plans with you. I do not have many restrictions (other than those above the neck LOL) and I’m willing to try anything that is healthy….I don’t do fads or anything unsustainable.
