How to move past a bad meal?

Hey guys,
I am trying to gain weight, and I have only gained about one pound in three weeks. Anyway I am so frustrated, so I went to a buffet for lunch. I completely binged. I basically just ate three unhealthy large meals at once. I felt sick afterwards (I am usually not a large eater and I typically stay away from greasy food), however I feel better now. Should I eat light for dinner now? Thanks
Ps: I am a petite young woman

You are trying to gain weight you need to eat surplus calories
I'm failing to see the issue7 -

Sounds to me like you should visit this buffet more often if you're trying to pack on weight.3

Sounds like a successful meal if your goal is to gain weight. Why would you go lighter on dinner?2

Lol Thanks guys, I just felt like I did something bad to my body. (Since I had such a big stomach ache). However I feel better now. Maybe I need to be less uptight and just binge.0

Well, you could move foward just eating more calorie dense foods not binging on huge quantities of food. It might be easier on you.

One pound in 3 weeks doesn't sound too bad at all.. again I don't know your goals if you are very underweight or not.
Why do you think you binged (or what you considered a binge) do you feel like you are not eating enough in your surplus? Are you restricting foods unnecessarily ? Also if you are having issues hitting your goal I also recommend to check out that calorie dense food list above
I mean I ate a little too much for Thanksgiving a few weeks ago, yea I felt like a big bloater but I ate a little less the next day (not too much less since I am trying to gain too) but I would say move on, drink lots of water and try your best to get back to your routine and stick to your cals.. don't start the habit of restricting now if your intention is to bulk. This one day will not make you gain all the weight (fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it !)
