i hate to be that google hypochondriac, and i'm probably going to call my g.p. anyway. but in the meantime i just have to ask. has anyone dealt with this? heard about it? the medical name is episacral lipoma, and it's a new one on me but apparently not unknown among people who lift 'heavy' weights.

not asking for diagnosis. i'll get that from her along with the overdue pap smear and whatever else she's got going on currently. just interested.
ETA: i'm extraordinarily foolish. idk what you're talking about0 -
Tendency is inherited and minor injury triggers growth which is probably why heavy lifters may be more prone to this. Microscopic injury triggers growth in muscle too.1
