Using the Wrong Activity Level

So, I ended up inputting the wrong activity level. I put "active" because I do the stairmaster every day for 50 minutes and thought that would be classified as active. Make sure you check how many calories you are ACTUALLY burning though, because I only burn several hundred and that actually puts me in the "lightly active" category. It completely changed my caloric intake for the day!

You activity level in MFP has nothing to do with exercise.. This is your NEAT is what you do in the day for work / normal activities in the day.

in short: MFP NEAT method + exercise..

Just a note. If you're wearing an all day tracker (and you trust it), if it's linked with MFP and negative adjustments are on, you can pick whatever activity level you want. If you don't pick accurately you'll just get a bigger adjustment from the tracker throughout the day.

As said above, activity level selection doesn't have anything to do with workouts.
