    my vote is no.

Use it for a while and then decide. I've been on here since 2007. I see no benefit to Premium for me. I lost my weight and have been maintaining since early 2008.

I think it depends on what your purpose is. Read through the additional features provided with premium and decide if those are something you would need/use. For many people, the free version is sufficient.

This. Plus there are so many flaws with the free version that Premium doesn't fix/outweigh.

I would agree that you should try out the free version and see how it fits.

I upgraded to premium fairly soon after starting MFP, and I'm unlikely to renew when my year is up. If you're following a plan that has very different caloric or macro goals for specific days of the week or specific macro goals by meal, then it could be very helpful. Otherwise, I don't really use anything that wasn't on the free version. (Does the free version let you log exercise without increasing your caloric goal? I do use that.)

When you log exercise, you can override the calorie burn to 1. It won't let you change it to zero. Another option would be to not log it, but write it in your notes section. Personally, I just use FitBit and let it make the adjustments, but I set my own daily goal (higher than what I was given by 400/day), so I don't eat exercise cals back. I just ignore the difference.
