I am trying to get back into doing keto and am using myfitnesspal to help me keep track of things. I was actually looking for a keto forum when I ran across your post. I would definitely be interested in sharing info, experiences, etc.

I had the sleeve done and my surgeon has actually recommended converting to DS! I'd love to hear your experience with it. I'm quite a ways away from goal and lost close to 90 lbs. I've been yoyoing for months now.

My sister in law had the DS and she can't do Keto because it is so high in fat. The fat goes straight through her. Good luck

Hi skhoward1969!! What was your surgery date? Im 9 years out too. Had my surgery on Sept 17, 2008.
What do you use for your macros? I am having a hard time finding the sweet spot of enough intake of calories vs the malabsorption. If I follow regular macros calculations, I don't get enough in and my body stops the weight losing process.

How does a DSer even use this for an accurate count? I am so confused. 6+ years post op and it always wants me to do 1700 calories. Is there a way to set it to count for DS Math? I am debating Keto... but just not sure how.
