Just Starting out here and looking for some good workouts for beginners. I know I want to start running and am looking at couch to 5k.. but if anyone has suggestions for just starting out with weights I would really appreciate the help!!

    Tons of people here love stronglifts 5*5. Simple, progressive, and effective. If you've never used weights before be sure to learn and practice proper form and have it checked by someone who knows. Good luck!

    As mentioned, everyone loves the stronglifts programs. Bodybuilding.com has some very typical and beginner style programs as well.

    Great call on the addition of weights- with consistency and your eye on nutrition, I'd say welcome to Resultsville... you're gonna be living your username in short order.
