Hello all. I had a quick question. Is it bad to have one scoop of protein with almond milk after a cardio session that includes no weight lifting? I'm done working out after work at about 5pm and don't eat dinner until the fiancé gets home at 7pm so I need something to hold me over because I'm starving. I'm trying to drop weight not gain but I've heard protein is good for muscle recovery. Thanks for the help guys

It's not "bad"...but it's not really necessary for recovery if you're getting adequate protein in your diet either.

personal preference, and as @cwolfman13 said if you are getting adequate protein from your diet then you could just have some fruit or something to tide you over...

It won't have any negative effects if you are otherwise within calories and just using it as a snack, no.

It's not necessary and I wouldn't go over calories to make room for it, but otherwise totally fine.

Unless you implementing some kind of fasted stubborn fat loss protocol and are extremely lean, then I see no reason why you shouldn't do that.

Well it won't hurt anything.. it will give you extra protein that might help you with meeting your protein goal and fill in the gap you need till next meal.. so win win..

@quiksylver296 you should implement more carrots into your diet because your eyes are obviously not 100%. I am wearing a San Diego Chargers jersey ⚡️
