Which meal planning and shopping app do you use to help you stay on track?

A good old notebook and pen. I write down what I have in the house that's still good, and then over in another column what I should add to flesh out some meals. I also write down the dishes I plan on making so when I get into over-hungry-can't-think mode, I can just pick something instead of struggling to engage the brain.0

I write it down too. Family decides what we'll have for dinner the following week, it gets posted on the fridge. I decide a few freezer meals to make, portion and freeze.
I grocery shop based on what we need for the above.0 -
I use a spreadsheet on my computer (open office) for the fridge-freezer-pantry inventory and the meal plan/log, and write down the shopping list on my mobile phone. I do my main grocery shopping Mondays and Fridays. I think the main things that keep me on track, is that I plan meals I want to eat, and that I keep it simple. No three cources if I can avoid it0
