What positive changes did you notice when you lost? What kept you going when you felt like giving up? I feel like we could use another motivation strand.☺

I could cycle up hills easier.

I'll also add that I only stuck with it for two lots of 16 weeks so it wasn't difficult to keep going. I had a finite ending date. If had to stick with it until I lost a certain amount of weight, that probably wouldn't have happened, but sticking with it for just 16 weeks was manageable.

I can do so much now like real push ups, burpees, run 4 miles, etc. I like to take "progress" pics because the scale can fluctuate so much. I think the best advice is to just take it one day at a time and KEEP GOING! Don't stop because you had one bad day, the next day is brand new. It's all part of the journey and a minor road bump, but you just gotta keep swimming. This advice keeps me motivated because I'm changing my life and it's not a quick fix

For vanity, looking great in a wider range of clothes and I'm not even at goal yet.

The look on a couriers face when they warn me something is heavy on delivery and I take it off them like it's no big deal. The feeling of being capable and strong is pretty awesome.

I also enjoyed my GP seeing me for the first time in months the other day and she said "Wow, you're in great shape!".

Losing weight, eating better food, and exercise all make me feel good physically, and look better and younger.

I get sick less. My skin is clearer. I have more energy.

I have a jawline again (instead of a double chin), I can wear clothes that I feel cute in, instead of just trying to find the outfit that hides my fat best.

I'm happier overall with my appearance and have more confidence.

Not at my goal yet but each day is better as I lose the extra weight.

Success. What better feeling is there than accomplishing a goal?

After I established my "its enough" or "breaking point", everything that fell into place afterwards. All things positive that can occur with creating plans, setting goals, keeping commitments, following through, seeing results, etc etc.

And to be honest, I never felt like giving up, and in any of my down days or weeks they do end up being positive too (it's ok to take mental breaks, they are always needed in any aspect of life not just weight loss or fitness goals).

I can bend down to tie my shoes. I can sit on the floor and get up easily. I keep up with my family when we walk now. I don't look pregnant. I'm getting more done. More energy, less pain, better balance, better sleep, clothes fit better.
It is a big difference in quality of life from being in constant pain and discomfort, being out of breath climbing stairs in my house, walking my fastest and being 5'+ behind others, wanting to sit down after walking 3 blocks, going through my closet and not having things fit. I'm not going back to that.
