RX Bars and PaleoBar by Designs For Health

I recently had a shoulder injury so I've been replacing a meal or two per day with a Vanilla Almond coated PaleoBar by Designs For Health (filling and easier to eat with one hand!)
These bars have some questionable ingredients so instead of ordering another box I decided to order a variety pack of RxBars.
I'll typically have a bar for breakfast, maybe one for lunch and an afternoon snack (I try to max my bar limit at 2 per day)
Has anyone had luck with weight loss on either of these bars? The RxBars are definitely more natural but are higher in calories and probably fat. Are there any other filling and clean bars you'd recommend instead?
Thanks!

What if I told you weightloss was purely a result of consuming less calories than needed, regardless if those calories came from broccoli and brown rice or Twinkies? Something to ponder in regards to your question of weightloss.3

This OP. I personally love protein bars and eat them from time to time, but they're not the reason why I've lost and maintained my weight. Eat what you like, making sure to keep at a caloric deficit. That being said, don't be silly enough to eat Twinkies and donuts all day long. Yes, you'd lose weight all the same as long as you stay within your calorie goal, but you'd also be very hungry and low on vital nutrients. Be wary of plans that tell you to buy things and/or substitute meals.0 -
At 210 cals per bar. 3 bars/day or even 2 is a fair amount of calories. Personally I would rather spend those calories.on actual meals rather than a bar. Whatever works for you though.0
