It's pretty unlikely you'll gain muscle while losing weight. Eat to your goal plus a portion of your exercise calories, log everything as accurately as possible, and it should happen!0

It can be challenging to maintain muscle while losing and gaining muscle while in a deficit is nearly impossible. Set your calories based on your rate of loss goal and stick to it. You should accomplish what you want to that way.0

Punch your stats and lose 1 pound a week goal into MFP and do exactly what it says. Some walking would help too, eat back the calories you burn. Easy peasy.0

Intake sounds fine as a minimum but does depend on height and weight
You shouldn't be concerned about muscle gain but should be concerned about muscle loss particularly at your age so throw in some progressive resistance training, don't lose weight fast and eat enough protein2
