New Goal- Pass PT requirements!

Hello Everyone! Anyone out there military or ex-military?
I've done a lot of thinking and I'm getting serious about a decision I've made to join the National Guard. I've talked to a recruiter and gotten a lot of helpful information, but guess what's holding me up? That's right, I have to pass the physical test requirements. Now I don't want to just PASS with the minimum, I want to pass and do really well.

These are my goals:
50 pushups in 2 minutes.
80 sit ups in 2 minutes
Run 2 miles in 13 minutes or less.

weight 160 (I'm 5'8'' and 23 years old) (Current weight is 206)

Has anyone else lost more than 100 lbs and then joined any branch of the military? Had to shape up to get in?
