Favorite 'before workout' meal

I usually eat whole wheat pasta an hour before most of my workouts (i like the energy i get from the carbs). I'm thinking about switching it up a bit. What's your favorite 'before workout' meal?

    I'm up at 5am for an early workouts so I just grab a banana or have a small bowl of cinnamon puffins cereal (omg so good). Then I have a big breakfast later.

    A small banana and 30g of rolled oats. I slice the banana into the oats, add a bit of water and microwave until the banana melts through. It's a fantastic pre-workout meal :-)

    Homemade yogurt with a bit of honey and a strong cup of coffee.

    Any kind

    But I also require a good warm up before I can workout.

    Two 5" Buckwheat pancakes, 2 eggs layered in the cakes, Pure maple syrup 3 links turkey sausage. Its higher carb meal than my other meals to get me through the workout. Nice mix of simple and complex carbs, fat and protein.

    A boiled egg and an apple usually tides me over before a workout, and plenty of water.
    But saying that, I do have a meal somewhat before that straight when I wake up. The snack is just not to work on empty :P
